Rotarians in Pwllheli have received a cash boost from one of the town’s supermarkets.
Pwllheli Rotary Club has been handed a cheque for £500 from Jo Scott, the community champion at the local Asda store.
The £500 grant will be used by the Rotary for their annual charity Santa float, which takes in the town and various villages on the Llyn in the run up to Christmas.
Over the past few years the club have also been able to get many local groups and charities to help them with the float. After all the festive activities, proceeds are split between various groups, charities and the Rotary.
This has helped bring a local feel to the float with a mix of groups that might not meet otherwise.
