DASH Ceredigion is celebrating St David’s Day today by launching a new fundraiser, DASHing About Wales.
The charity is looking for roving ramblers to help clock up a total of 1,317 miles – the circumference of Wales.
People can walk one mile or 10, it’ll all go towards helping the charity reach its collective target of walking around Wales.
Walkers can log their miles on www.dashceredigion.org.uk and keep track of progress. This sponsored walk will be running for six weeks.
Ceredigion MP Ben Lake said: "Best of luck to all DASH Ceredigion supporters who will be taking a ’walk around Wales’ to celebrate St David’s Day this year!
"With spring upon us at last, this challenge is the perfect opportunity for individuals and families to spend some time outside, get some exercise and support a very important local cause.
"DASH Ceredigion is a fantastic charity dedicated to supporting disabled children and their families in Ceredigion.
"We know that it’s been an exceptionally difficult 12 months for charities in Ceredigion, and so if you are in a position to support this challenge either by taking part or by giving a donation, I know that it would greatly appreciated by all the families who rely on the vital work carried out by DASH Ceredigion."
