BRO Ffestiniog Rugby Club has received new kit purchased through PACT funding provided by North Wales Police.

The club said it was “extremely grateful”.

A police spokesperson said: “PCSO Stewart recently awarded PACT funding to help fund a new rugby kit for Bro Ffestiniog Rugby Club.

“The team now have their new kit and we think it looks great!”

A club spokesperson said: “We are extremely grateful for the PACT funding which, along with club sponsors, has allowed us to provide quality playing kit for a group of young people who, along with everyone else have been through a difficult period over the last 12 months.

“It is a great example of community engagement and will hopefully inspire them to develop personally and in their chosen sport.”
