Sad to learn of death of prolific letter writer

Madam,

As a contributor to your letters page, I am sad to learn of the recent death of Trefor Davies of Llanfrothen, who has been a regular writer to your page over the years.

I think I once praised his efforts by calling him the “letter writer’s letter writer.”
