A SHOPKEEPER has upset a disabled man and his wife after allegedly berating them for parking outside his shop.
Robert North, who owns Fairbourne Mini Mart on Beach Road, is said to have shouted at tourists Greta and Lewis Morris when they parked their disability van near to his shop on Saturday, 30 September.
Mr North sparked outrage in August when he told Andy Terry, a registered blind man, and his guide dog Flame to leave his shop due to his “absolutely no dogs” policy, despite Mr Terry and his dog’s legal right to be there.
In this latest encounter, Mr Morris, who uses two sticks or a wheelchair to move around, had crossed the road to find out more about Fairbourne Railway when he claims Mr North began shouting obscenities at his wife.
They were in the area visiting from Sunderland.
There is a space outside the shop, where drivers are legally entitled to park their vehicles.
Responding to the claims, Mr North said: "If people are going to park in my front garden, in front of my shop, and restrict my customers from coming in the shop of course I’m going to ask them to move."
