A CRICCIETH singer has announced she is filming her own documentary which follows her journey from YouTube singer to Bhangra star.
Nesdi Aneirin Jones (pictured), 22, is a singer/songwriter and rapper who moved to New Delhi, India, when she was only 17-years-old to widen her horizons personally and musically.
Her debut single London, which is a duet with Money Aujila and produced by Yo Yo Honey Singh, who are well-known in the Indian music scene, went straight to the number one spot on the BBC Asian Network.
The former Ysgol Ardudwy pupil, who was signed to VIP Records earlier this year, is now currently in the process of filming her own documentary which follows her musical journey and her return to India following her number 1 single.
The talented singer says filming the documentary, which will air on S4C next year, is an overwhelming experience.
She said: “The documentary is going to focus on my musical path right from the beginning. It’s about developing from being on YouTube to becoming Nesdi Jones.
“It’s been a difficult transition and still a lot of hard work – it’s been difficult and emotional and it will be nice for people to see that."
