A group of slimmers from the Llyn Peninsula have raided their wardrobes, emptied their closets and donated old clothes that they have slimmed out of all in aid of Cancer Research UK.
At Pwllheli, Slimming World consultants Kate Knowles and Kristy Roberts carry out the campaign to raise funds each year.
This year 124 bags have been brought in totalling a massive £3,100 and that is without giftaid.
Kristy said: “I am overwhelmed with everyone’s generosity, to be able to give back to such a great cause that has touched so many of our hearts is just really humbling.
“Whilst our members have helped us to raise a lot of pounds is it amazing to be helping so many of our members on a weekly basis in our groups to lose their extra pounds.
“It really is the gift that keeps on giving.”
Collectively since January, slimmers in Pwllheli have lost a staggering 232 stones.
With helpful, friendly groups held weekly over three days, a food plan where you’ll never go hungry again and heaps of support, there’s plenty to offer those looking to shed the pounds.
Kristy’s groups are held on Wednesdays and Fridays and Kate holds events on Saturdays.
