Madam,

I am in sympathy with Mr R N Phillips who has had a great deal to put up with ref eye clinic (‘Disgraceful situation at eye clinic not being addressed’).

I also am waiting to see a doctor at the eye clinic in North Road, Aberystwyth. I am losing my patience. Usually it is good but I have been waiting 14 months to see someone, when I am supposed to be seen every four months.

I have been told it will be about two years before I get to see a doctor. They have told me to ring the Patient Care Unit. That is a laugh!

I am to wait now, don’t know how long. I have glaucoma as well in both eyes.

The NHS has gone to pot and the poor patients with it.
