A CHRISTINGLE service was held at St Matthew’s Church led by Rev David Williams, helped by the senior and junior Sunday Schools. The talk was given by Dan Priddey, a Deanery assistant who works in the local community in schools, churches and many other organisations. St Matthew’s became a church-sized Christingle and with the help of both Sunday Schools, giant visual aids, a torch and the congregation, the love and blood of Jesus, represented by red knitting wool, was spread all over the church. It was a very enjoyable and moving service and thanks were given to the vicar, Dan, Michael the organist, those who provided refreshments, both Sunday Schools and to the congregation for making the service such a success.

Services are held every Sunday at 11.15am with Sunday Schools at the same time during school term time.
