COLLEAGUES from the Aberystwyth office of NFU Mutual, the UK’s leading rural insurer, arranged a superhero fundraising day in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, NFU Cymru’s charity for 2016.

The team dressed up as superheroes (pictured) for the day, and received sponsorship from members, customers, friends and family.

They invited customers to come in for cakes and nibbles to join in the fun.

Claire Richards, office manager at Aberystwyth, said: “Cystic Fibrosis Trust is a cause very close to our hearts, and we were very keen to do something special to support the charity.

“Collectively our team came up with idea of a superhero day, as it is fun and enjoyable and something out of the ordinary.”

To date, the team have raised over £450 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Claire added: “It was well worth the time, and effort, and was great fun! Our Costumes have been packed away until the superheroes need to fly again to save the day and support our chosen charity.”
