MORE than £900 was raised by holding an afternoon tea party at Llanddeiniol Old School.

Family, friends and the community as a whole came out to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary with Stand and Carol Corfield, and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea prepared by daughter Caren with help from family and friends.

Mr and Mrs Corfield thanked everyone that helped and contributed on the day.
