TWO Ysgol Bro Idris teachers will have their wedding televised in the new year.
The couple’s big day will feature on S4C’s Priodas Pum Mil, which sees friends and family organise a wedding on behalf of a couple, with only £5,000 in their pockets, and returns on Boxing Day.
From the wedding dress to the photographer, cake and location, will the couples be happy with what their friends and family have arranged for them?
Lora and Wil Rayfield from Rhydymain were delighted to be on the show, with their episode airing on S4C on Tuesday, 30 January.
“We really didn’t want a boring wedding and our little Yorkshire terriers had to be part of the day”, said Lora, who walked down the aisle with her beloved pooches.
“I loved how the girls introduced my wedding dress to me. I had tried lots of different ones on in the bridal shop but they played a trick on me. They put the most disgusting one you could imagine hanging up and invited me into the room to see it. I honestly thought that’s what I would be wearing. Thank goodness it was a prank and the real one was behind me which I loved!”
Wil could not wait for the wedding following a less-than-conventional engagement.
