AN INDUSTRIOUS teenager has been praised for his excellent work ethic.
Aron Roberts, 18 from Porthmadog, took up a new role keeping Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd’s new offices clean.
He received his first job with the housing association’s contractor, Anglesey Contract Cleaning, and does a great job keeping the new office Ty Madog “clean and tidy”.
Aron also volunteers three-and-a-half days a week at the local Oxfam shop in the town.
He said: “I’m really happy that I’ve got this job and really enjoy coming to work every day. It’s great for me to earn my own money and I’ve made some new friends.”
Aron is on the Engage to Change programme which is managed by local charity, Agoriad.
The programme aims to get young people with autism and learning difficulties into the workplace.
