A teenager was left hospitalised after a crash near Talyllyn Lake.

Last Wednesday night, a black car overturned on the B4405 near Abergynolwyn leaving two people requiring medical attention.

A man was treated at the scene by Welsh Ambulance Service staff for minor injuries, but a teenage woman had to be conveyed to Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth for further check-ups.

The road was closed for an hour whilst the clean up and recovery operation was ongoing, but traffic began moving again just before 10pm.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: “We were called at just after 8.30pm on Wednesday, 13 January, to reports of a car having overturned near Ty’n-y-Coed Hotel, Talyllyn.

“We responded with an emergency ambulance and a female teenager was conveyed to Bronglais Hospital for a check-up.

“A young male adult was treated at the scene for minor injuries.”
