Madam,

I am the brother of ’Groxy’, featured last week in ‘Groxy on the mend after life-saving brain surgery’.

When I was told by my sister that he’d been rushed to the Heath in Cardiff, as he’s our only brother still surviving, you can imagine the upset we both felt.

We were constantly in touch with Groxy’s family but we had great faith in the hospital’s excellent treatment.

You can imagine how everyone felt when the good news came through that he was talking, sitting up and eating.

On behalf of my sister Babs and I we would like to thank Bronglais for their quick life-saving decision to transfer Groxy to Cardiff to get the excellent care he needed.

Our heart goes out to my brother’s family - Ann, Dawn, Simon and their families.
