At last, good to read as reported in your last week’s issue headed ‘Deterioration of Aber town centre sad to see’ - writing that long standing town councillor Mair Benjamin has spoken out for so many residents living in Aberystwyth and district as she has continuously done for residents for so many years since being elected.

As reported by Chris Betteley in his article Cllr. Benjamin has spoken out on what so many residents are complaining about that is the detrimental effect of the safe zone on trade with shop closures, traffic going round in circles, street cleaning etc has successfully now been told that her requests for an emergency meeting to discuss such urgent failings will be held in August despite councils not traditionally meeting in this month.

So many residents live in hope that the outcome of this meeting will result in remedial measures being taken by those responsible for such follies and thank Cllr Benjamin for her continuing hard work on behalf of residents in fighting for sensible changes.
