Madam,

For once (and I trust it will only be this once), I must agree with Neil Hamilton that his UKIP colleague Nathan Gill should not hold two elected positions.

If he is in Brussels allegedly representing the people of Wales (I say allegedly as UKIP don’t want to remain in the EU) then he is unable to represent his electorate in Cardiff Bay and vice versa.

That said, those living in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. If Neil Hamilton wants to represent the people of Mid and West Wales then he should live in our region and not in Wiltshire.

And if Mr Hamilton or one of his aides catches sight of my letter, may I politely point out that each time he speaks on behalf of his electorate he does not speak on my behalf and I’m sure a great many other Cambrian News readers would agree with me.

Yours etc,

Mark Rees,

Cae Ceredig,

Llanbadarn Fawr.
