A cheque has been presented from the proceeds of the annual Llanidloes Tractor Run held in June.

During this year’s event on 16 June, £1,105 was raised for the chemotherapy Leri ward at Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth.

The run is organised by the Baker family, who decided to support the Leri ward this year in memory of Dai Daniels.

Dai’s son, Evan, was on hand to receive the cheque from head of the family John Baker, watched by son Mark, daughter-in-law Lynne and great-grandchildren Ryan and Ffion.

The run started from the business park to Llidiartywaun where the Baker family hosted the morning coffee and cake stop at their home.

A raffle was drawn before the tractors headed to the finish at Trefeglwys.
