Mothers from the Cylch Meithrin in Aberdaron set out on a tractor run through the village, raising over £200 for the local playgroup.
The women-only fundraiser was held on Sunday, 28 July, and saw six ladies driving tractors of various varieties through the streets of Aberdaron and the surrounding landscape. Many of their children also attended to show support.
Nerys Evans, who organised and led the tractor run, remarked that it was initially difficult to find participants as “there aren’t many women who drive tractors in Aberdaron”.
But the fundraiser is now in its third year – and raised over £200 for the cylch this time around to go towards resources and running costs, in order to “keep the place going and keep costs down for parents”.
