TRAFFIC ground to a halt in Aberystwyth town centre this afternoon after a lorry carrying a section of a piece of machinery for the Volac milk factory in Felinfach struggled to navigate through the narrow streets.

The articulated lorry was moved to Stanley Road to clear Alexandra road, after it became stuck whilst between North Parade and Alexandra Road.
