Madam,
My thoughts went out, fully, to Clare Marno (Reinstatement of train welcome - but it has come at a price).
Do the decision makers of the higher echelons of Arriva travel on their own late trains?
Is arriving around midnight at Pwllheli reasonable, due to the timetable having been changed? The waiting time at Machynlleth, for a connecting train, beggars belief and obviously there are none too many choices.
To have this wait with such a total disregard for human needs and/or discomfort surely needs addressing? This is not desirable, rated or acceptable.
Does someone have to suffer from hypothermia, or does something more worrying and dismaying have to happen to some unsuspecting soul? Evidently there are no staff around and no facilities open. Who does take responsibility?
Passengers waiting there certainly seem isolated and quite bereft of anything other than their own resources.
Should a petition be drafted, to be presented to Arriva management, I would most definitely sign it.
Yours etc,
Jill Baxter, Abergynolwyn.
