TRIBUTES have been paid to an Aberystwyth University student who has died.
Stefan Osgood, the vice-president of the Aber Snow club, died on Tuesday night, and now devastated club members have started fund-raising for Mind in his memory on JustGiving - and already exceeded their £500 target.
Stefan, originally from Wallasey on the Wirral, was a Mathematics student at Aberystwyth University.A spokesperson said on the club’s Facebook page: “We lost not just a committee member and one of our closest friends but we also lost the life and soul of the club.
“Stefan’s impact on the club, as well as its members, has been nothing short of incredible and we will all feel the loss of such an amazing person for a long time to come.
“As a club, our thoughts go to all of his friends and family at these hard times. But as friends, we love you and we will miss you. Your generous and friendly nature brought people in this club together and their friendships will be a testament to the truly incredible person you are.

A police spokesperson said: "“Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a male who was found at approximately 4.30am on Wednesday, 9 March in the University Residence, Aberystwyth.
"Next of kin have been advised.
"The death is not believed to be suspicious.”
