The family of a man who died following a crash last week have paid tribute to him.
Eric Bergqvist died on the A499 near Gyrn Goch last Friday (19 February).
The 74-year-old, who was local to the Gyrn Goch area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Paying tribute to him, Mr Bergqvist’s family said: “Dad, grandad, partner, family member or friend. However, you knew him; Eric was an amazing treasure to have in your life and everyone is deeply shocked by his sudden loss.
"His grandchildren cannot imagine never being able to see their beloved Taid again and his partner Gretta says he was her anchor and she doesn’t know what she will do without him.”
Daughter Sherrin said: "My brothers and I are completely devastated. He was my best friend and inspiration. None of our lives will ever be complete again.”
Police are investigating the crash.
They have launched an appeal for witnesses, or for anybody who may have been travelling between Gyrn Goch and Trefor last Friday evening who has dash cam footage to contact them.
