MEMBERS of the Rotary Club of Tywyn were delighted to host a fascinating presentation by Karen Davies on Thursday, 1 September, entitled Purple Shoots.Karen was instrumental in setting up the not for profit organization designed to help disadvantaged people to find a dignified way out of poverty in a caring and sympathetic manner.As is the custom with guest speakers at club meetings, president Anthony Pearson presented Karen with a cheque for £100 towards her work with Purple Shoots.
