A WOMAN who raised over £1,300 for Abersoch RNLI has handed a cheque over to the lifeboat station.

Louise Baldwin raised the money by taking part in the Pen Llyn Summer 50-mile Ultra on 3 July with her friend Jason Large.

Through an online fundraiser and cash donations, Louise raised a total of £1,320 for Abersoch RNLI, which has been handed over to the station.

Louise said: “Jason and I were very grateful for all the extremely generous donations we received from fellow sailors and runners, family and friends and some from people who were unknown to us.

“A big thank you to everyone who so kindly supported us.”
