A GROUP of volunteers have teamed up with Keep Wales Tidy to hold a Beach Clean in Aberdaron.
The clean was organised by Lee Oliver of ’Keep Wales Tidy’ last weekend, and despite the rain, cold and wind, the day was supported by pupils from Botwnnog school and a few other brave volunteers.
Pictured here on the left are Lee Oliver, Steve Regan (Police Support Officer), Mr Dafydd Owen (Inclusion Support at Botwnnog School) and on the right hand side Laura Hughes (National Trust) along with six year 11 pupils from Botwnnog school.
After a good hour walking along the beach the hard working crew had filled many a bin bag of rubbish from the beach in Aberdaron.
At the end of the session Lee Oliver said: "I’m really grateful to these pupils for turning out on such a horrible day and for their efforts in collecting the rubbish, much appreciated."
