Madam,
I notice that there has been a recent rockfall on Constitution Hill, in Aberystwyth, near to where Alan Marsden created his shrine to Our Lady of Craiglas. For safety reasons, both sides of the paths that give access to this shrine have been blocked by barriers erected by Ceredigion County Council, who would appear to own this land. I wonder if Mr Marsden gained permission from the county council before erecting his shrine and, if so, is the council happy for anyone of any religious persuasion to erect similar structures? Failure to give permission to all might be construed as religious discrimination.
Could the rockfall be the action of some god that is displeased either with Mr Marsden’s shrine or its desecration?
Yours etc
David Kirby
