A DRONE company has taken advantage of the good weather this summer to film some stunning footage of Snowdon.

The footage, captured by CameraDroneUK.com above the summit and available to watch below, shows the views in every direction on a clear day and the path the 120-year-old railway takes.

With the exception of two World Wars, Snowdon Mountain Railway has run uninterrupted since 1896. It has even been used to help mountain rescue teams working on Snowdon.??

Offering both a heritage steam service and traditional diesel locomotives, visitors can experience and enjoy the spectacular Welsh mountain scenery just as the Victorians would have done back in 1896.??

Services run throughout the summer from Llanberis Station to the Summit Station, where visitors can walk a short distance to the highest point in Wales and England, 1,085m above sea level.
