This weekend looks set to be a washout with meteorologists issuing a yellow warning for rain.
Up to 40mm of rain is set to wash over Wales between 6pm on Saturday evening and 5pm on Sunday.
The Met Office warns: "An area of persistent, heavy rain will arrive across Wales by Saturday evening before spreading to parts of northern England overnight.
"During Sunday persistent rain should tend to ease but will be followed by very heavy showers in places.
"Through the period many parts of this area will see 20 to 30mm of rain. Where the heaviest rain will fall remains uncertain but there is the potential for 30 to 40mm of rain to fall within a few hours in places."
The storm will sweep across all of Wales and some localised areas could face significant flooding issues with rainfall of up to 100mm.
Residents should be prepared for strong winds, particularly in coastal areas, and the possibility of downed trees and power cuts.
Gusts could top 50mph in some locations.
Those who have to venture out should leave extra time for travel, with road closures and transportation delays likely.
