What nonsense regarding Blue Flag award!

Madam,

What nonsense, ‘Blue Flags could be lost’ following Brexit.

It is not, I hope, the Blue Flag award that maintains good water quality! Surely it is Aberystwyth’s desire to do the right thing without any need of donkey’s carrot of an award.

There are enough scientists in and around Aberystwyth for water quality to be regularly tested and for a nice Green Aberystwyth flag to be hoisted at strategic points up and down the coast with pride of achievement.

Make Aberystwyth the world’s standard.
