Madam,
When a tree fell onto a phone cable near me in Cribyn and was overhanging an already treacherous stretch of busy road, I thought it would ultimately be the council’s responsibility to ensure roads are safe to use.
Yet they say it is up to the landowner to deal with the tree - as do BT - and appear to have no powers to take enforcement action even though life is obviously being endangered.
How can this be so?
