Madam,

I have walked down the main road in Llanbedr daily for over 13 years and have seen how dangerous it is.

I have even been hit by the wing mirror of a van while crossing the bridge on the pavement and now we have had what may be a fatal accident.

If and when the new mosque is up and running, there will be many more pedestrians on that stretch of road making it even more dangerous.

So why are a minority of people, especially Graham Tottle, so vehemently opposed to a bypass when obviously it would make life so much better for people living along the main road and pedestrians who have to walk it.

Perhaps through your paper Mr Tottle would give his honest reasons for his opposition.

Yours etc, Keith Barber, Pen y Bont, Llanbedr.
