WI members have celebrated 100 years since the formation of the Ceredigion Federation.

On 30 September 75 members of Ceredigion Women’s Institute gathered together at the Cliff Hotel near Cardigan to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the formation of Ceredigion Federation of WIs.

They were joined by guests Ann Jones, chair of NFWI, member of Llanddewi Brefi WI and dual member in Tregaron WI; and Derek Brockway of Weatherman Walking fame.

A wonderful lunch was had by all followed by an address from Ann and a very enjoyable talk from Derek.

The lunch was the first of a year of events to celebrate the centenary with many more celebrations to come.
