Ospreys are returning to Wales for the summer, with two arrivals in the last 24 hours.

Aran landed at Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife centre in Croesor, Gwynedd, at midday today (Friday).

In a post on social media, Glaslyn said: “We are delighted to share the news that Aran landed today at 12:08. At last!

“Welcome home Aran!”

Aran will join Mrs G in the next shortly it is expected.

Yesterday, Telyn the osprey returned to the Dyfi Osprey Project on the Dyfi Estuary.

Telyn landed in her nest at 6.43pm on Thursday evening for her third year of breeding.

Both Glaslyn and Dyfi Osprey Project are closed to the public during the Covid-19 lockdown, but staff have been posting pictures and videos online from remote cameras near the nests.
