I note that your correspondent Ian Mac­Intyre poses a number of questions to Liz Saville Roberts MP – even including whether Labour politicians should lead the UK’s Brexit negotiations.

Labour’s position on Brexit has been a shambles from the outset, with their MPs failing to support Plaid Cymru’s proposal to guarantee that powers from Brussels are handed over to Wales rather than grabbed by Westminster. Labour MPs have also refused to back Plaid’s call for an end to Tory austerity.

So Mr MacIntyre would be well advised to get Labour’s house in order rather than expecting Plaid Cymru to do the job for him.
