How on earth could the installation of zip wire from Consti to the pier be considered to be desirable? Sitting looking out over the sea, enjoying the play of the light on the water and the graceful flight of gulls would be completely spoilt by such an eyesore; swimmers and those enjoying a cup of coffee on the prom would be disturbed by the loud screams that seem to be obligatory from the users of a zip wire.

In short, we would lose both the view and the tranquility that our prom affords us - mainly for the benefit of visitors that we host for a very short period in each summer.
