Now under new management, the new owners of Maesyfelin Care Home are proud to continue its long-standing tradition of family-led care. Maesyfelin has now entered an exciting new chapter under the family ownership of Stuart Samuel, Lauren and Lee Samuel-Wrightson, building on the strong foundations set by the previous owners who shaped the home into the warm and welcoming place it is today.
Nestled in the heart of Llanybydder, Maesyfelin is known for its peaceful surroundings, close community links and homely atmosphere. Their vision is to honour that legacy while bringing fresh energy, investment and a renewed focus on high-quality, person-centred care. More about our ethos and plans can be found on our website.
As they begin this new chapter, the Samuel family are strengthening our wonderful team and welcoming caring, dedicated people who share their values. They also have plans to extend the home to offer even more family-based support for older adults and individuals living with dementia. Their goal is to make Maesyfelin the very best it can be for residents, families, staff and the wider community.

Meddai Lauren Samuel-Wrightson: “Rydym yn falch iawn o barhau fel cartref gofal teuluol, yn union fel ein cartref chwaer sydd wedi bod yn ein teulu ers tair cenhedlaeth. Ein nod yw adlewyrchu’r un teimlad teuluol a gwerthoedd gofalgar yma ym Maesyfelin, a bydd Maesyfelin yn ein teulu am genedlaethau i ddod.”
Quote from Lauren Samuel-Wrightson: “We are really proud to continue as a family-run care home, just like our sister home which has been in our family for three generations. Our aim is to mirror that same family feeling and caring values here at Maesyfelin, and Maesyfelin will be in our family for generations to come.”
Families wishing to join the existing waiting list are encouraged to register their interest and be part of Maesyfelin’s next chapter.
