FORMER Aberystwyth Town striker Tom Bradshaw has been named in the 29-man Wales squad to travel to Portugal for the pre Euro 2016 training camp - where he hopes to secure a place in the final 23-man squad for the tournament.

Bradshaw has carried on his scoring form since making his senior Wales debut against the Ukraine in Kiev in March, and he has scored two goals in his last two matches to help put Walsall in the League One play-offs this month.

However, with the Saddlers now set to face Barnsley over two legs on 14 and 19 May, Bradshaw could yet miss out on the camp, with the Wembley play-off final against either Bradford or Millwall due to take place on 29 May.

Coleman will take the pre-tournament squad to the Algarve on 23 May, and after the final squad announcement on 31 May, Wales play Sweden away on 5 June in their last friendly before the Euro 2016 Championship.

Notably Gareth Bale will not be involved in the trip to Portugal, due to his involvement in the Champions League Final with his club side Real Madrid on 28 May.

As well as Bradshaw, the strikers chosen for the training camp are David Cotterill, Hal Robson-Kanu, Tom Lawrence, Simon Church, Sam Vokes and Wes Burns.

Bradshaw, who grew up in Tywyn and came through the Aberystwyth Academy, has now taken his tally for the season to 20 goals, with the 23 year-old equalling his scoring tally of last season.

His scoring has sparked plenty of transfer speculation, with Championship clubs Reading and Preston believed to be leading the race to sign him this summer, while Birmingham City have also expressed interest.

Swindon were reported to have had a bid for the striker rejected at the beginning of the season, reportedly in the region of £300,000 - but it is thought it would take a significantly higher offer after another stellar campaign.

The striker, who played for Aberystwyth in the 2009 Welsh Cup Final, had joined Walsall from Shrewsbury Town in June 2014 for an undisclosed fee.See his reaction to making his senior Wales debut below:
