WINLESS Llanystumdwy were hit for six in a 6-1 home defeat to Llangoed in the Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd League.
Carwyn Williams scored twice inside eight minutes and Llion Roberts made it 3-0 just past the half-hour.
Darren Parry trimmed the deficit on 51 minutes, but Williams added two more goals on 48 and 82 minutes, and Tomos Lewis completed the half-dozen on 86.
Nefyn United notched an emphatic 7-0 win over newcomers Mynydd Tigers, with Josh Lloyd Jones providing the eventual lead-taking goal on 40 minutes.
The floodgates opened in the second half, with goals being rattled in by Daniel Roberts on 60 minutes, Jack Williams on 68, Guto Roberts on 80, Mark Dunn on 88, along with Josh Lloyd Jones completing his hat-trick on 79 and 90 minutes.
Menai Bridge Tigers registered their sixth straight win with a 4-1 win over Talysarn Celts, courtesy of a hat-trick by Dean Redmond, including two penalties, and Sion Hogan. Jac Jones replied just a minute from the end.
Glantraeth thrashed Bontnewydd 6-1, with Andy Clarke bagging a brace on 35 and 78 minutes, as did Tom Hadley on 39 and 76.
Ben Roberts netted on 44 and Dion Williams on 89, all before the hosts’ reply by David Carl Jones on 90.
Gwalchmai piled up a 6-2 tally at Waunfawr, mainly because of Mark Griffiths’ hat-trick on 26, 34 and 36 minutes, with Gwion Thomas scoring on 50 and Corey Sinnott on 64 and 81.
Ioan Gwynedd netted for the home team on 34 minutes and Adam Lloyd on 68.
