NEFYN United were punished by a hat-trick from Gary Bolton as Aberffraw notched up a 5-2 away win in the Gwynedd League.

Dylan Sion Jones had scored for Nefyn after 23 minutes and Iwan Jones-Roberts on 74, but Bolton took centre stage with goals on two, 15 and 72 minutes, alongside Andrew Jones netting on 40 minutes and Dave Harper after 80.

Llanystumdwy’s Sion Parry was in deadly form as he netted six goals in their 7-0 win at Bethesda Athletic.

After a goalless first half Parry rattled in his half-dozen after 48, 53, 56, 62, 67 and 76 minutes, followed by Bradley Williams after 85.

Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs’ Reserves were in difficulty again, with a 7-0 defeat at Menai Bridge Tigers.

There were hat-tricks, from Gareth Barker after 10, 24 and 29 and Ryan Wood after 69, 78 and 85, plus Jamie Ashton’s goal on 32.

Title contenders Bontnewydd triumphed 7-2 at Beaumaris Town as Aled Steel converted three penalties, on 32, 39 and 72 minutes.

Jonathan Peris Jones netted on 27 minutes, Dan Evans on 67, Sion Williams on 77 and Rhys Roberts on 80, whereas Beaumaris managed replies from Dean Redmond after 13 minutes and Danny Camilleri on 61.

League Bodedern Athletic registered a convincing 4-1 triumph against Waunfawr, with Casey Boylan’s opening goal on 43 minutes from the penalty spot, followed by Dan Owen’s hat-trick on 50, 52 and 85, with Ellis Povey replying on 54.
