NEFYN United returned to winning ways in the Gwynedd League with an entertaining 3-2 home win over Talysarn Celts on Saturday.

Goals from Zac Allinson on nine minutes, Dylan Sion Jones on 32 and Daniel Roberts on 75 sealed the points.

Celts, who had trailed 0-2 at half-time, got their replies from Sion Williams on the hour and Rhys Jones a minute from the whistle.

Llanystumdwy drew first blood in a series of three consecutive Saturday derbies with Blaenau Reserves, with a 4-3 win at Cae Clyd.

Blaenau had taken the lead through Jamie Evans after 8 minutes, but Robert Griffiths equalised five minutes later, courtesy of a free kick.

The hosts then had Calvin Ellis sent off on 34 minutes, and goals from Sion Parry on 52 minutes and Arwyn Roberts on 63 gave the visiting team a 3-1 advantage.

The 10-man hosts replied through Rhys Williams on 64 minutes, but Parry netted on 85, before Amateurs substitute Adam Wyn Davies scored for Blaenau on 90.

Leaders Bodedern Athletic beat Beaumaris 5-2 with goals by Jordan Taylor on 9 minutes, Matthew Jones on 34 and 70, Connor Roberts on 50 and Harry Jones on 65.

Danny Camilleri replied on 3 minutes and Dean Redmond on 25 from a penalty.

Second-placed Bontnewydd won 2-0 at Aberffraw, where Keith Roberts on 50 minutes and Aled Steel on 89 minutes sealed the points.

Waunfawr and Bro Goronwy meanwhile fired blanks in a goal-less draw.
