PENPARCAU will travel to face MMP Mid Wales League division one leaders Llanidloes Town in the fourth round of the Central Wales Senior Challenge Cup after beating Hay St Mary’s 7-0 at home.

Ryan Edwards scored twice in a comfortable win for the Ceredigion men, with Liam Lewis, Mike Gornall, Andrew Gittins, Nathan Warren and an own goal completing an emphatic win against their Mid Wales (South) League opposition.Llanidloes Town meanwhile booked their place in the last 16 of the competition with a closely-fought 1-0 win over Llandrindod Wells, with a second half penalty from Connor Bird proving enough to win it against his former club.Aberaeron made the long journey east to Bishops Castle with just 11 players, and fitness finally told in the second half as the Montgomeryshire Amateur League side secured a 5-2 extra-time win.Gareth Severs and Rhodri Edwards scored for the visitors to get it back to 2-2, but the border club won through with goals from Kieran Mulloch, Sam Jones, George Mellor, Jack Mellor, Jack Kennett.Bow Street were left to rue their missed chances as they bowed out of the competition with a closely-fought 1-0 extra-time defeat to Montgomery Town at Cae Piod.The Magpies will feel they had enough opportunities to have won it, including a missed penalty, but with both defences on top in a goalless 90 minutes, Glynn Coney made the breakthrough with the only goal of the game in extra time.Monty will go on to face Builth Wells in the fourth round after second half goals from Adam Farmer, Rich Powell, Greg Preece and Christian Jones earned them a solid 4-0 win over Llansantffraid Village.Llanilar will fly the flag for the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth and District League with a fourth round tie at Bishops Castle, after they held their nerve to beat Tregaron Turfs in a penalty shoot-out.Goals from Owen Roberts-Young and Dewi Evans ensured that it was 2-2 after extra-time, with Ifan Jones and Cledan Davies netting for the Turfs, but it was Llanilar who won through on spot kicks.Padarn United crashed out with a 4-1 defeat at home to Rhayader Town, with Ryan Addison and Kai Evans both scoring twice for the Mid Wales League side, whilst Tom Wilson netted for the hosts.They will travel to Welshpool Town in round four after they triumphed 4-0 at Newbridge, courtesy of a Ricky Litchfield brace and a Martyn Ziemann goal.Aled Jones scored a well-taken hat-trick as Tywyn/Bryncrug hit back from being two goals down to win a thrilling tie 4-3 away against Carno at Ty Brith, including a free kick to win it in the 87th minute.Carno had taken charge with goals from captain Daniel Lewis and Geraint Jones, from the penalty spot, but Tywyn hit back to turn the tables with a brace from Jones and a Nick Williams effort.Ioan Humphreys equalised, only for Lewis to fire the winner in the closing minutes, with the hosts going down to 10 men when Daniel Lewis was sent off. Tywyn will now travel to unbeaten Mid Wales League (South) leaders Brecon Corries in round four after they won 3-1 win at Dyffryn Banw with goals by Dale Evans, with a brace, and Matty Roderick.Newcastle Emlyn notched an excellent 3-2 home win over Mid Wales League division one side Radnor Valley, to set up a fourth round tie away against Berriew. Dorian Davies scored twice for the Costcutter Ceredigion League club, before Sam Hall got the all-important winner midway through the second half.Berriew also beat higher-ranked opposition as Jonathan Jones and Andy Evans secured an excellent 2-0 win away at JD Cymru North high-fliers Llanfair United.Waterloo Rovers edged a 3-2 extra-time win at Four Crosses, with goals from Tom Ellis, Ollie Davies and Jake Mantell winning the game for the Welshpool side. They will go on to face the winners of the tie between Guilsfield and Caersws, which is due to be played on Tuesday.On Sunday, Cymru North outfit Llanrhaeadr, who fielded a mixture of first and reserve team players, raced into a five-goal half-time lead away against Kerry, before eventually winning 6-0, with goals by Marc Griffiths, who netted four, Matt Evans and Iwan Matthews.They face another away tie in the last 16 against either Machynlleth or Penrhyncoch, who will play on Tuesday evening.
