UNBEATEN Porthmadog Under 18s clinched the Vale of Clwyd and Conwy Youth League title with an emphatic 7-0 win at Llandudno Junction last weekend.

The result meant that, with just one league game remaining, they cannot be caught by their nearest rivals Llanberis.

Porthmadog raced into a 3-0 interval lead with goals from Carl O’Hara, an own goal and Elis Thomas, and second half goals from Sol Kempster, Reece Evans, Rhys Hughes and Cai Henshaw sealed their seventh successive league victory.

The talented Porthmaodog youngsters will be hoping to complete the treble this season as on Sunday, 29 April they take on Llanberis in the League Cup Final at Parc Meurig, Bethesda, with a 1.30pm kick-off, and on Sunday, 6 May they will take on Penrhyn Bay in the final of the North Wales Coast FA Youth Cup..
