TYWYN/BRYNCRUG hit back from being two goals down against Llanrhaeadr, only for the high-flying visitors to score a late winner to triumph 4-3 in the Spar Mid Wales League division one.
A heavy shower prior to the kick-off made conditions difficult, but within 10 minutes Tywyn went ahead with a Paul Grant penalty.
It was a tight affair, but the visitors got back on level terms after 35 minutes with a good goal by Tom Evans.
Llanrhaeadr then started the second half strongly and were two goals to the good after goals from Iwan Matthews, from the penalty spot, and Gary Meredith.
Tywyn, however, were always a threat and a Mark Edmondson effort and an own goal put them back on level terms after 80 minutes.
Llanrhaeadr, however, scored the decisive goal on 85 minutes through a Iwan Matthews strike, to sentence Tywyn to their 11th league defeat of the season.
