NIALL Coleridge scored a hat-trick as Talybont moved to within four points of leaders Bont in the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth and District League division one with an emphatic 8-0 win over Machynlleth Reserves.
Ben Hall and Jamie Morgan also both scored twice and Joel Dixon too found the net for the Talybont, who have played one game more than the frontrunners.
Llanilar took all three points from a seven-goal thriller at Tregaron Turfs as they registered a 4-3 victory.
Two goals from Guto Roberts, and singles from Ryan Edwards and Clive Morgan secured the vistors their win, whilst the Turfs netted through Rhun Garner, with a brace, and Dylan Davies.
Goals from Paul James and Elgan Wyn Jones meanwhile earned Padarn United a 2-1 win at Aberystwyth University Reserves, who netted through Nathan Ash.
Talybont Reserves made it four wins from five matches as they went top of the division two table with a fine away 2-1 win over a strong Aberdyfi Reserves team.
Steve Beresford and Steff Foulkes scored the winning goals, whilst Peter Rickard was on target for the hosts.
Mike Rees scored four goals as Dolgellau Reserves noched an 8-4 win over Llanilar Reserves, with George Jackson-Townshend weighing in with a hat-trick, along with a Iwan Lloyd effort.
Sion Gittens scored a hat-trick for Llanilar, with Llion Thomas also getting a goal.
Levi Challinor scored a hat-trick as Aberystwyth University Thirds made it two wins from two with a 6-0 win over Padarn Reserves. Dylan Price, Michael Gardener and Steffan Hansen also found the net.
Borth Reserves bowed out of the League Cup with a 3-1 defeat against Penrhyncoch Reserves, despite Scott Wilson scoring a penalty.
