OVER 500 people flocked to Maes Tegid in Bala on Wednesday to get up close and personal with the Champions League trophies.

Both the men’s and women’s trophies are touring Wales in the run-up to the finals being held in Cardiff next month.

The biggest prize in European football, the mens final will take place in the Principality Stadium on 3 June.

The women’s Champions League final will be staged at the Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday, 1 June.

Those who attended had the chance to get up close to the two iconic trophies and have their photo taken.
