Abersoch RNLI towed a sailing yacht with engine problems back to shore.
The volunteer crew was paged at 4.04pm 30 August following a report of a 30ft sailing yacht experiencing mechanical issues half a mile northeast of Abersoch Moorings.
The lifeboat launched at 4.18pm.
The launch service from South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club had gone to help, but with worsening conditions struggled and called the lifeboat.
The RNLI quickly located the yacht and due to deteriorating weather, decided to tow the vessel to one of the SCYC visitor moorings.
The three crew members were taken ashore by the SCYC launch and the lifeboat returned to the station at 5.23pm where it was washed down, refuelled and left ready for service.
