A 67-year-old Blaenau Ffestiniog man has pleaded not guilty to 10 sexual offences allegations involving a young boy when aged 11 to 15 in the 1990s.
Tracey Willingam, prosecuting at Dolgellau Magistrates Court, said that the 10 charges were specimen allegations and asked for the case to be heard at the crown court.
Terry Jones, 67, of 12 Park Square, pleaded not guilty to all the alleged offences which involved gross indecency with the boy and inciting the boy to commit gross indecency.
Richard Williams, defending, told the court that it was a firm not guilty plea and had no objections to the trial being held at the Caernarfon Crown Court on 6 June.
Court chairman Alun Pugh formally committed the case to the crown court and accepted that special measures should be put in place regarding a video interviews for the Welsh trial.
Jones was granted unconditional bail.
