Police are investigating after a body was discovered on a Ceredigion beach on Monday.

The body of a man was found on Llansantffraid beach in Llanon on Monday afternoon, and police said that no identification had yet been made.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “We were called by a member of public who had found a body on Llansantffraid Beach, Llanon, Ceredigion, at around 1.20pm on Monday, 25 January.

“Enquiries are ongoing to identify the body and establish a cause of death.”
