A LORRY was driven along a section of the A487 in Ceredigion while on fire this morning, igniting hedgerows as it went, the fire service has said.
The large goods vehicle, which was travelling south between Aberystwyth and Llanrhystud on Monday morning, was carrying machinery on a large trailer.
Fire crews extinguished the fire in the trailer when the lorry was eventually stopped near Llanddeiniol. It had scorched several hedges along its route.
It is not known how the fire was caused or when it was noticed by the driver.
